EDC LINK
For all adult criminal cases you represent in Montgomery County filed after 2022, you will be receiving your discovery via a download link sent to your email address on file with the District Clerk’s office. You must file a rep letter and email that letter to repletter@mctx.org in order to receive discovery. There are no other forms or email requests to DA Discovery required to obtain this discovery.

You will receive your download link as soon as you have notified repletter@mctx.org that you’re representing a case and that case either already has discovery on EDC or as soon as discovery is made available on EDC.
Important Information and Helpful Tips:
1. You will not need to log into anything to obtain your discovery.
2. Download links may contain a significant amount of data. This can sometimes take a while to download. Having a fast and reliable internet connection will be of paramount importance at times.
a. Wired internet is strongly preferred over wireless, which can time-out and be unreliable.
3. The download link emails contain a message that includes the cause number for your client’s charge.
4. The download link emails have an expiration date. Ensure you download them as soon as you can.
